Quran Reading Course Outline

  • Reading Quranic text with a proper Arabic accent.
  • Reciting using Hadar and Tarteel styles.
  • Understanding how Arabic letters change form within the Quran.
  • Learning the appropriate stretching of Harakaat (vowels).
  • Recognizing pauses and continuation points during recitation.
  • Applying Tajweed rules such as:
    • Izhar, Ikhfa, Idgham, and Iqlab.
    • Izhar-e-shafawi, Ikhfa-e-shafawi, and Idgham-e-shafawi.
  • Comprehensive reading from Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah An-Nas.

Requirements

Students should already:

  • Know the Makharij (proper articulation points) of Arabic letters.
  • Be able to join and read Arabic words.
  • Have knowledge of vowels, Sukoon, Madd, Tanween, and Shaddah.

If these prerequisites are unmet, students are encouraged to complete the Basic Noorani Qaida Course first before starting the Quran Reading Course.

After completing this course, students will gain the ability to recite the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation and fluency.
